Morning, fly to Nepalgunj and this one-hour flight will take you to a city in the region of Terai. After touching down in Nepalgunj, private transport will take you to Bardia National Park in two to three hours. On arrival, a welcome drink will be offered, followed by a brief introduction to the program and our facilities, and room assignments.
Late afternoon we take a short village trip to learn more about the unique culture and lifestyles of the indigenous inhabitants. Refresh yourselves by seeing the sunset over the Karnali River while sipping your preferred beverage.
At 8:00 AM, have breakfast at the resort and get ready for a fun day in the jungle with free animals and beautiful nature. Get good sunscreen so you can spend the whole day in the jungle without worrying about getting hurt. Today, you'll take a jeep into the jungle at dusk, stop at a certain place, and start walking quietly to find the tiger's tracks and figure out where they are. You will follow the professional tiger tracker's instructions while you are in the jungle to give yourself the best chance of seeing a tiger. With a little luck, you will look for things like poop, scratches on trees, Pugmarks, alarm calls, and more.
Once your guide is sure where the tiger is, the game of waiting starts. Stay in a safe place and wait to see the Royal Bengal Tiger, which is a beautiful beast. Live in the moment and see how beautiful the most-awaited moment looks. Find hard-to-find animals like Blackbucks (Krishnasr), leopards, and other wild animals. Breakfast, then prepare for a river safari on the Karnali River on a hand-built canoe navigating the river's vast stretches. You will see a variety of birds and aquatic wildlife, such as freshwater dolphins, as well as the endangered Gharial crocodile sunning on the Karnali riverbank. Take some without the beautiful flora you encounter along the road to make the experience more memorable. You will witness wildlife such as deer and Mugger crocodiles during your River safari. A Thai river safari will take between two to three hours. You will return to the lodge for lunch, get some relaxation, and enjoy the resort's comforts.
Get prepared to explore the Bardia jungle. An professional local naturalist will join you on your jeep safari and provide in-depth information of the local flora and fauna. You will encounter several species of animals, unusual birds, monkeys, and the beautiful One-Horned Rhino on the safari. Bardia is one of the rare locations where Royal Bengal tigers are found, and you will seek diligently for any hints as to their position. Evening is an excellent time to search for the Royal Bengal Tiger because this is when large cats typically venture out. Tigers hunt in the evening, therefore you will be able to observe them during this time.
Breakfast and we drive to Nepalgunj airport and catch a flight back to Kathmandu or Pokhara. End of the package.
