Day to Day Itinerary

• Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu.

  Arrive in Kathmandu, Nepal’s largest city and capital - not to mention the world’s adventure hub for trekking and mountaineering. For the ultimate in luxury and relaxation, we recommend checking into the Dwarika’s Hotel. Dwarika’s Hotel is just outside of the city near Nepal’s prized mountain. The restaurant offers 6 to 22 course authentic, savory, and extravagant Nepalese meals.

• DAY 02: Fly to Mustang.

  Sit back as you take a helicopter flight to Mustang, typically a 7-day trek. The region was known as the Kingdom of Lo until the kingdom ended in 2008. Catch unrivaled views of the mountains before landing in the ancient city. You have the rare opportunity of meeting a member of Mustang royalty. After your audience with royalty, you will tour the walled city. Ride through the local villages on horseback. Gain a sense of tranquility and peace as you visit the meditation caves. Spend tonight in Lo Manthang, the walled capital of the region.

• DAY 03: Kathmandu.

  Fly back to the Kathmandu District to catch a glimpse into a sacred culture - the buddhist monks of Drikung Kagyu Rinchen Palri Monastery in Balambu. If the High Dalai Lama is not traveling, you will be granted an audience. You will experience a private monk blessing. Dine with monks, eating the traditional vegetarian lunch with the monks living in the monastery. Travel back to Kathmandu and overnight at Dwarika's.

• DAY 04: Departure.

  Spend your last morning in Kathmandu discovering the city’s culture before your afternoon departure. Our suggestions include visiting the Bodhnath Stupa, a revered holy site which dominates the skyline. The ancient stupa is one of the largest in the world and falls along the ancient Tibetan trade route. Take a stroll through the Garden of Dreams and enjoy the fresh floral fragrance. Visit the Swayambhunath Temple and marvel from the lookout point at the stunning view of the sprawling city below. Squeeze in these final moments of cultural exploration before ending your journey and returning home.
