The ideal time to visit Chandragiri Hill is during autumn season (September–November) and spring (March–May) when the clouds are clear and with spectacular views of the Himalayas. Once again, summer is not recommendable, as when the snow melts, around April or May, the views are possibly not satisfactory enough, in contrast, winter (December–February) has a wide range of snow-covered landscapes around, as in monsoon (June–August) a heavy rain and fog around the area makes everything blurry and visibility can be too low. The best panoramic sights can be seen early in the morning.
