Trip Itinerary

• Day 1: Welcome to Chitwan, Sauraha.
• Morning/Afternoon: You'll arrive in the town of Sauraha, located near Chitwan National Park.
• Check-in: You'll check in to your accommodation, which may be a lodge or a campsite, depending on your tour package.
• Welcome Briefing: You'll receive a welcome briefing from your guide, providing an overview of the tour's activities, safety guidelines, and an introduction to the local culture and wildlife.
• Evening: Tharu Cultural Show: You'll be treated to a traditional Tharu cultural dance performance in the evening. The Tharu people are indigenous to the region, and their culture is an integral part of the Chitwan experience.

• Day 2: Jungle walk, Canoe trip and Chitwan Tower Night Stay
• Morning Jungle Walk: After breakfast, you'll set out on a guided jungle walk. This is an opportunity to explore the park on foot, accompanied by naturalists who can provide insights into the flora and fauna.
• Lunch: Return to your accommodation for lunch.
• Canoe Ride: You'll enjoy a serene canoe ride on the Rapti River, which offers a chance to spot aquatic birds and, if you're lucky, a crocodile or two.
• Visit to Chitwan Tower: As the day turns to evening, you'll journey to the Chitwan Tower, your overnight destination. You may choose to sleep in the tower itself or in a nearby camp. The tower offers elevated views of the jungle, ideal for wildlife observation.
• Evening: Chitwan Tower Experience.
