We organize Everest Base Camp trekking for seniors. If you are over 55 years, looking for a Everest Base Camp Trek for a adventure of a lifetime and thinking you can’t do, you are mistaken here because we can take you there and back safely. The regular standard Everest Base Camp trek is 14 days program but this itinerary is different. This is a 23 days package from arrival to departure and that includes more time for relaxation, visit to some off the beaten path villages and rest days for acclimatization to avoid high altitude sickness. During the entire trip, you will be accompanied by our professional and well trained guide who have more than 15 years of experience in leading similar trek to Everest Base Camp. They will ensure that you enjoy the mountains, lakes, local culture, people at your own pace and making this trip as adventure of a lifetime.

Day to day Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu. Pick up from airport and transfer to hotel.

Day 02: Meet your guide, discuss about the program, trekking permit arrangement.

Day 03: Fly to Lukla (2800m) and trek Phakding (2800 m) approx 3 hours.

Day 04: Trek Phakding to Monjo, (2835m), approx 3 hours.

Day 05: Trek Monjo to Namche Bazaar (3445 m) approx 3 hours.

Day 06: A rest day for acclimatization and exploration in Namche Bazaar.

Day 07: Trek Namche to Thame (3820m), 4-5 hours.

Day 08: Trek Thame to Khumjung (3,780m), 5-6 hours.

Day 09: Trek Khumjung to Tyangboche(3860m), 4-5 hour.

Day 10: Rest/acclimatization day at Tyangboche.

Day 11: Trek Tyangboche to Dingboche (4410m), 4-5 hours.

Day 12: Rest & Acclimatization day.

Day 13: Trek Dingboche to Lobuche(4910m), 5-6 hour.

Day 14: Trek Lubuche to Gorak Shep(5140m), 2-3 hours.

Day 15: Trek Gorak Shep to Everest Base Camp- Gorakhshep, 4-5 hours.

Day 16: Hike to Kalapatthar and trek back to Pheriche (4240m), 3-4 hours.

Day 17: Trek Pheriche to Pangboche, (3930m), 3-4 hours.

Day 18: Trek Pangboche to Tyangboche (3860m), Approx 2 hours.

Day 19: Trek Tengboche to Namche Bazaar (3440m), 5-6 hours.

Day 20: Trek Namche Bazaar to Phakding (2610), 3-4 hours.

Day 21: Trek Phakding toLukla (2840m), approx 3 hours.

Day 22: Fly back to Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel.

Day 23: Departure day. Transfer to airport and fly back home.
