Breakfast, meeting with other group member who are joining this Nepal to Tibet Budget Group Joining Overland Tour. We drive to Kerung border with rest of the group. It is about 145 kilometers from Kathmandu to Kerung that will take about 6 – 7 hours of drive. It is a beautiful scenic drive through the beautiful Nepalese countryside. After arrival at border, we process for necessary border formalities at Nepalese immigration. After that we take about 2 hours adventurous uphill drive and continue for Kurung. Stay overnight at Guest House.
Breakfast and we drive Kerung to Tingri. Today we will be driving about 225 kilometers . It is a beautiful drive where you can enjoy the typical view of Tibetan landscape, breathtaking panorama of beautiful Himalayan ranges including Mt Cho Oyu (8201 M) & Mt Xishapagma (8012M) and after arriving at Tingri, you can also enjoy the magnificence view of Mt. Everest (8,848 M). Stay overnight at Guest House
Breakfast in Tingril guest house and we continue our drive to Ronbuk. We will visit Ronbuk Monastery, sightseeing tour and after that we walk to Everest Base Camp. Overnight at Guest House.
Breakfast and we continue our beautiful drive to Shigatse, crossing over Gyatchu La pass (5,220M), which is the highest pass en route to Lhasa via Lhatse. Stay overnight at hotel.
Breakfast and we go for sightseeing tour around Panchen Lama's Tashilhumpu Monastery. After that we continue our drive to Gyantse where we visit to the Kumbum Stupa and Phalkor Monastery. Today we will be driving around 351km and it is a picturesque drive crossing Karola (5,010m), Kambala (4,749m), Colorful Yamdrok-Tso Lake and the Tibetan lifeline river Brahma Putra (Yarlung Tsangpo). Stay overnight at Hotel.
We spend 2 full days in Lhasa for exploring major highlights of Lhasa such as Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Bazaar, Potala Palace Drepung and Sera Monasteries. Stay overnight at Hotel.
